Operation/Regulatory Manager - Taiwan

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Electroninks is quickly expanding and is seeking an experienced, full-time Operation/Regulatory Manager to join our Taiwan Team! The ideal candidate is detail oriented, can build strong relationships, is innovative and a team player. This role requires expertise in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure efficient operations and cost-effectiveness. Regulatory experience is
preferred but not mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management

• Oversee end-to-end operations, including sourcing, production, logistics, and distribution.
Develop regional strategies, optimize demand and supply planning, reduce costs,
and integrate digital tools for efficiency.

Logistics & Distribution

• Manage 3PL partnerships, ensure import/export compliance, optimize last-mile delivery,
and negotiate supplier & carrier contracts for cost-effective transportation.
• Handling, packaging and logistics of our products, including in some cases hazardous
goods

Procurement & Supplier Management

Focus on strategic raw material sourcing for toll manufacturing in Taiwan (TW), balancing
sustainability, cost competitiveness, and supply security while mitigating risks like geopolitical
instability and material shortages.

• responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing reliable suppliers for the sourced
chemicals. Oversee all the processes involved in acquiring the products, materials, goods
and services needed for efficient business operations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Align with finance, operations, and sales teams, facilitate regional & global communication, and
enhance customer & partner relationships to ensure supply chain success.
• Closely collaborate with our partners, third parties (e.g. SGS and similar certification
firms) and customers’ regulatory specialists
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
• Track KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory turnover), apply Lean & Six Sigma for efficiency,
and develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.

Regulatory

• Provide regulatory guidance, risk assessment and management throughout entire product
lifecycle
• Prepare for, organize, and accommodate potential government or customer audits
• Manage and oversee the creation of globally compliant SDS documents and labels for
R&D and commercial products
• Prepare regulatory applications, including registration of new chemicals to TSCA registry
and international regulatory bodies
• Review new and existing international regulations, guidance documents, and standards to
ensure product compliance
• Closely collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Production, technical/product
experts, facilities and logistics) to resolve any potential issues from in-region regulatory
agencies.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and/or 4+ years
of industry experience.
• Experience in wet chemical laboratories or chemical manufacturing environments is
required.
• Experience with ERP systems for supply chain and inventory management.
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Ability to travel to our production sites, if needed
• Strong verbal and written communication with organizational and project planning skills.
• Self-motivation, desire to learn new things while working in a team as well as
independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with hazardous chemical handling and shipping, including current or recent IATA
certification (or ability to quickly renew)Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
• Experience in SDS authoring and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with international regulatory bodies and compliance requirements.
• EHS-related licenses/certifications (OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO 9001, etc.).
